Photo Monday

I took a photography class on Saturday and learned all about the basics of shutter speed, aperture, and all sorts of fun things about my camera. The last 40 minutes or so of the class we looked at fun photographs and we all tried to guess what the photographer did to make the cool picture. It was so much fun.

After the class I went home to play with my camera while photographing my two favorite people. I am going to take a class of lighting soon so I need to practice the basics now. This is my favorite practice picture of the husband. I placed the shutter on bulb and held it for 5 seconds. The husband was in one spot for 3 and another for 2 of those seconds. I think it turned out pretty cool, but I stole the idea from one of the example photographs.

Actually, late last week I was trying to pop six bags of popcorn at once, but the combined puffiness blew the microwave door open, causing me to be bombarded with radiation (and semi-popped corn). I've been semi-transparent ever since. Also, there are two of me.

As soon as I learn how to use my powers for evil instead of good, I'm quitting my job.

You're funny. That is just one of the many reasons I married you.
