The Fair: A Picture Story

We made it across the country, back home, AND managed to go to the fair. Not a small feat, but we're dedicated. We couldn't miss all the fried food. So what better way to chronicle our experience by showing all my loyal readers pictures of all the food we ate?
First...one of the many things you'll see at the fair. You don't see this everywhere people.

We got to the fair and decided to eat some appetizers before heading over to see all the animals and let the boy talk to the chickens.

After seeing the chickens and carefully avoiding the disappointingly monster petting zoo line we had a little pre-dessert and another appetizer of nachos. Delicious.

Then we moved on the the main course while we sat and waited for the cat show (the boy loves cats.) I forgot to take a picture of my Gyro, but the husbands Turkey leg made it in the slide show.

The finally we had the desserts of all desserts while walking around the expo center watching people, playing on the swing sets, wandering through the sales booths, and watching them finish the butter sculpture.

I admit that I had a bit of a stomachache when we were heading home, but it was a small price to pay.
