The beginning of this week consisted of us painting our what was formerly a bright blue bedroom. It is now a nice yellowish-golden brown color and goes much better with our bedding. Since my father-in-law made our bed for us we are keeping what we have for a long time. The husband is still in the process of refinishing a dresser and the funky sofa in the corner was my grand parents. Growing up I always loved this little settee from the 60's and my Gramps gave it to me a few months ago. I just don't feel like I have enough talent to recover it myself without destroying it, so I'm going to wait and save up enough to have it covered and restored. Here are some pictures of the finished project. I'm so glad to have my comfy bed back!
