Good thing my mom has been coming in the mornings to help. There might not be a lot of posting going on for the next 6 weeks. I hear that "normal" fussiness lasts at least that long. Hopefully he is just a "normal" fussy baby.

Fussy Babies
I guess I just give birth to fussy babies. My new little one has been crying and crying because of gas. Not nearly as bad as the first born, but enough that the husband and I are tired. At least if we hold the baby he calms down after a few minutes. The oldest child is sweet about it. "Bebe cying," he says and climbs up in the rocker with me.

Be encouraged...even really good babies deal with gas. It doesn't last for months like colic. I forget the moments now, but I stayed up with Aurelia many nights in those early weeks, working her legs and rubbing her tummy as she dealt with gas.
