Prayers Answered

I would just like to thank everyone for praying for my friends. I got two e-mails this morning with updates.

The first one said that my friend's surgery went well. Mom and baby are resting at the hospital. She hopefully has 17 more weeks to go so continued prayer would be appreciated!

The second one announced the birth of a beautiful baby boy (I have to say he is such a pretty baby!) Feel free to go say congrats on her website here!

Urgent Prayer Request

I have a friend that is living overseas and is in the 2nd trimester of a high risk pregnancy. I got an e-mail this morning asking for prayer because she is having an emergency cervical cerdage surgery. Please pray for the safety of mom and the baby!

Also I have a friend having a baby today! It is a busy day of prayer for the husband and me.

Almighty God our heavenly Father, graciously comfort your servants in their suffering. Fill their hearts with confidence that, though at times they may be afraid, they yet may put their trust in you; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Urgent Prayer Request

I am asking everyone who reads this to please pray for Katherine Wolf. She is a good friend of a friend of mine and I met her briefly while the husband was in law school. She was making dinner, collapsed, and was taken to the hospital. She has undergone 2 risky brain surgeries this past week and the family is praying for a miraculous recovery. She has a 6 month old son and a husband that is in his final year at law school. For more information check here and here. This family has really been in my prayers and on my heart the last week. I cannot even begin to imagine what they are going through.
