I fly home to see my mom a lot. We find that me flying with the boy is actually a lot cheaper than driving. We usually fly Southwest because they have a direct flight, but they are not the most family friendly and I get frustrated. I understand that they are catering to the business traveler so I try not to get angry when everyone that works for this airline asks me if I want to do the "family boarding" after everyone else. Um no. This is what I feel like saying. "I do not want to wait and then have to beg people to sit next to me and my baby. I get glared at enough thank you. And, no, I am not going to quit traveling with the baby. In fact I feel like it is my calling from God to torture you and help build character by repeatedly flying your airline."

Thursday at the airport I took a picture of this sign above the moving sidewalks. I find it horribly ironic. So, basically if you are immobile in a wheelchair or have small children and a stroller you are not allowed to use them. Thanks to the CEO who thought of this one up. It really helps my stress levels.

"The moving sidewalks are strictly reserved for the use of people who need no assistance moving their lazy selves to the gate."
