My Boring Week In Review

The husband was out of town on business so I went out of town. The baby boy got sick a day before we went out of town. He had his first really high scary fever. I am glad that I was with my mom. He started to feel better and we returned home a day before the husband, but by then I was sick. So, I loaded the boy in in stroller and we walked to Blockbuster.

The next 2 days during the baby's every nap and in the evenings I watched this movie over and over and over. So many times that the husband watched it to see why I was watching it. Turns out I was watching it mostly because it was clean, cute, and lacked a lot of substance. Sometimes I enjoy this so my brain doesn't have to initiate any thought.

Saturday I returned the movie and got this one instead. That evening I was not at all sleepy. I think it was because I had taken a nap while the husband had watched the boy. I was a little uncertain about the movie because Julia Roberts was in it. She isn't my favorite in a lot of movies. I mean she has a great smile, but I find all I see is her smile. I thought the movie might be redeemed by Tom Hanks. Surprisingly the movie was very well acted, had some nerdy history, and was a compelling story. Two thumbs up.

So, that is what I did with my week. What about you?

We were really busy last week with fun activities and have started another full week ... but now I'm feeling sick! =P Headache, fatigue, icky throat, achy eyes. Is that what you had? Luckily the boys seem fine ... besides their general malaise of allergies and teething molars!

Actually yes, the sinus pressure and headache is still around, but it is much much better! I do hope the boys don't get it!!! I will pray they remain healthy and have a fun week:)

Oh -- and I just saw the preview to 27 dresses when I finally watched "Bella" on DVD. It's now a guilty pleasure on my Netflix list.

And while we're bearing souls here on mindless movies: I can't help but love "High School Musical." (The first one; definitely not the second.)

Okay. I love "High School Muscial" as well. So, chessy! I also love watching the Disney Channel.
