So today when the pediatrician told the husband that he was a good husband I couldn't help but agree. He is a good daddy to our boys. We are still dealing with a fussy, needy baby so the regular checkups are not fun. The husband went into work late today so he could hang out with the toddler while I went in for the checkup. The doctor was running behind and he and the toddler eventually ended up in the exam room.
He sang to the baby, did a dance, and read to the toddler. So entertaining.
The doctor checked the baby and then offered to go ahead and give the toddler a flu shot since we were all already there.
The baby got his shots and cried.
The toddler got his shot and cried.
Then daddy helped hold the crying people.
Then daddy went to work and said he'd make it up by working tonight. The baby is crying himself to sleep now. He misses his daddy? Seriously, the husband can't be around all the time now can he?
Such a good daddy and helpful husband. I think he deserves to be bragged on.

Nothing sexier than a good dad, right ladies? i've always thought so. Can you imagine raising kids in the days that men were so uninvolved? Its hard enough as it is!
