I bought these beautiful babies while living in a Hurricane-prone city last year. In fact, I bought these at J-crew for a mere $10. I was so proud, but have never got to wear them out until today.It has been sleeting all day long. It never seems to just snow a nice soft snow here, just a nice cold sleet that covers the grass. The husband was unable to get into work because it doesn't ever snow here. Hence, our city doesn't feel the need to stock up on a lot of expensive snow plows. We just all stay at home. It is fun, but I can go a little crazy. So, this afternoon after the boys nap we bundled up and went outside. The perfect opportunity to put on my fancy shoes huh?
It was still sleeting and the sleet was piled up so high that sledding wasn't very much fun. We stayed outside about 5 minutes. I took some pictures and we all went back inside to enjoy our nice warm house. Here is a picture of the grass. Exciting I know, but there you go. We're kinda bored around here. At least I got to wear the yellow boots.

Cute boots. My parents in KY are snowed/iced in w/o power! I love a snow day but not when frozen solid indoors! I think I'd have to wear the cute boots inside all day to keep my spirits up.
