My Clean House

For Valentine's Day my awesome mom hired someone to clean my house. I was a bit worried about it because many things could go wrong. I am a neat person by nature with a need to have things cleaned and controlled in my house a certain way. Except that my mom has sensed that I am tiring a bit easier and that it is getting a tad harder to clean out the bathtubs.Things were starting to slip. The dust layers on my bookshelves and in the boy's room were too much for her. My thoughtful mom works with this single gal who is trying to earn extra money for her mission trips. So, she hired her to help me. Who can refuse that?

Best. Gift. Ever. The magic cleaning girl came and dusted things that hadn't been dusted since we moved here. My bathrooms are sparkling and my kitchen it shiny. I even had time to run to Target with the boy while she was here.

Now, I don't want to do too much in my house because it would mess the house up. The wonderful husband has agreed to let her come back though so all is well. (He was amazed at how shiny things were when he got home. Not to mention his very happy wife.) Don't I have a great family? I think so.

We have been thinking of doing the exact same thing. I am considering once a month to have this lady come in to do the bathrooms, dust everything, floors, etc. But the bathrooms are the big thing. I want them to sparkle like you said. And the dusting. I just can't keep up with it and it feels so fresh when its done. Feels like a big luxury during these financial times but we did give up cable and reduce our phone from $60 to $10 so I feel like it is worth it. We're also refinancing. I think we'll give it a try to see how great it is and decide. Keep you posted.

How wonderful! I just finished vacuuming and cleaning the bathroom and I'm sweating. I think I want to give that girl a call.
