The Bright Side?

I've been the lazy blogger during this pregnancy. This time I'm blaming insomnia. I'm so terribly tired during the day it's all I can do to check my e-mail and get things done. Tonight, as I lay awake at 3 in the morning I decided I would just get up and write a quick post to see if my brain will calm down enough to sleep. I'm not sure why I can fall asleep so fast, be so tired, yet am so wide awake in the middle of the night. Anybody else experience this during pregnancy?

The bright side of all of this is that the weather has been beautiful here. Warm days and cool nights. Perfect zoo and playing outdoors weather. The boy and I have enjoyed it. I hear we have one more day of it. Ironically the day that the cold front is coming through is the day that the husband is leaving for the North. The cold, cold north.

The bright side of the husband having to travel almost every week this month is the fact that the boy and I are going with him to the town we lived in last year. It's nice that I can see old friends and stay at the Westin in the heavenly bed for very little cost to us. Thank you to my husband's company for not caring that I tag along!

Well. I have my ice cold water, and may feel some sleep washing over me, so ta ta for now.

Sorry you have to endure the insomnia. I experienced a bit of that before. Lately I just have kids waking at every hour, thinking it must surely be morning. And then it takes me an hour or two to get back to sleep. Pretty frustrating. Are you drinking caffeine these days?

Not much caffeine because I've been waking up. I'm off of desserts for lent, but we are taking the feast days on Sundays. It is nice to know I can have a little sugar and caffine on Sundays.

Ahhh. The Heavenly Bed. LOVE IT! We bought the Heavenly pillows just to try to duplicate it. They're nice. Sorry for the insomnia. I've heard of people having trouble when pregnant. Hope you're feeling well otherwise.
