Spam and Other Random News

• Okay. So I haven't posted in awhile because I haven't had time to post and keep up with all the spam that is leaving comments. I have word verification, but I still can't seem to stop it. Any suggestions? 
• It's definitely summer here. We finally have more time to work in the yard, but it's so blistering hot that some days you can't even breath.  I'm learning how to keep plants alive in this heat. At least some of my plants are making it. Our yard was a barren wasteland of a blank slate and we've slowly been adding things. I really, really want my clematis to grow up the the pergola, but I think maybe the ones I bought are too young for our south facing deck. Is it too late to go get more and start over or will they be scorched to death?  
•  The toddler is taking swimming lessons. It is a basic class where they get toddlers used to water. I'm just relieved that he LOVED it. Probably because they take the sing and play games to trick toddlers to get in the water and put their faces in it approach. It was really cute. He can't wait to go back tomorrow.
• I have my new camera and I have been playing with it the last 2 days. I got a basic kit and have dreams of having an attached flash by my birthday. I already am excited that I can play and do more pictures on manual. My other one broke and I couldn't put it on manual without the focus going bonkers.

That's all the news here. How about everyone else? I've been such a slacker I have no idea what's going on. Are there people still out there? Bueller? Bueller?
